If you are waiting for an Apple iPhone nano, you might want to check out the W350 in the meantime. It isn't a very feature-rich phone, but it does seem to us to work in ways that count. First of all, it's remarkably thin and light. We got our hands on it at a press event here at CES 2008, and it could easily slip into a shirt pocket. We also liked the style, with the metal accents and soft-touch black finish. And, from our experience, the Walkman player is the second-best player on the phone market, next to Apple's iTunes. If Sony Ericsson were to bring this to their U.S. stores, even unlocked, at a good price, we could definitely see recommending it to someone who wants a simple convergence device. Release: April 2008.
